What is CANVAS?

Canvas is a learning management system designed speciffically for K-12 teachers and students.  Canvas is an easy-to-use, cloud-based LMS that connects all the digital tools and resources teachers use into one simple place. All Mississippi Community Colleges, Delta State University, University of Mississippi Medical Center, are among the institutions of higher learning that use Canvas as the learing management system of choice.  This is one more step in preparing MA students for college.

Students, teachers, and parents use Canvas to track and manage class assignments, schedules, feedback, and materials. It is a portal through which teachers can communicate with students and students can complete assignments, quizzes, and other instructional tasks.
