2026 - 2027 - Board Member Nominees

PARKER ADCOCK

Parker Adcock, a native of Holly Bluff, is a dedicated cotton and corn farmer with more than a decade of experience in agriculture and business management. A 2013 graduate of Manchester Academy, Parker attended Mississippi State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, further strengthening his knowledge and commitment to the agricultural industry. Parker is married to Whitney Adcock, and together they have three children who attend Manchester Academy: Lily (8th grade), Ben (5K), and Jack Wilson (3K). The Adcock family attends Parkview Church of God.

LAURYN GRIFFIN CRAWFORD

Lauryn Griffin Crawford is a 2006 graduate of Manchester Academy. She is a licensed insurance agent and account manager at Yazoo Insurance Agency. This past year, she served as President of the Maverick MerriFest Board at Manchester Academy and has also helped manage the concession stands for basketball and girls’ soccer. Lauryn has been married to Charles Crawford for 15 years, and together they have three children who attend Manchester Academy: Kinsley (7th grade), Annie (4th grade), and Luke (2K). The Crawford family attends St. Mary’s Catholic Church, where Lauryn serves as a Sunday School teacher.

ALEX LAMPLEY

Alex Lampley is a graduate of Manchester Academy and Delta State University, where he earned a degree in Business Management. Alex is a farmer in Yazoo County and is married to Maegan Lampley. They live in Yazoo City with their three children, Watson, Barrett, and Caroline, all of whom attend Manchester Academy. Alex coaches pee wee football at Manchester Academy and also coaches two travel baseball teams. The Lampley family attends First Baptist Church of Yazoo City.

BUCKY SHIPP

Bucky Shipp is a 2010 graduate of Benton Academy and a 2015 graduate of Mississippi College, where he played baseball and earned a degree in kinesiology. He has worked at CF Industries in Yazoo City for six years, beginning in operations and now serving as Shipping Department Supervisor. Bucky is married to Kelsey Shipp, a physical therapist and Clinic Director at Elite Physical Therapy in Yazoo City. They have two children who attend Manchester Academy: Palmer, who will be in first grade, and Addie Wallace, who is in 2K. The Shipp family attends Pinelake Church in Gluckstadt.

JAMIE WALLACE

Jamie Wallace is a graduate of Manchester Academy and a 2004 graduate of Delta State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She also holds a Mississippi cosmetology license. Jamie has owned and operated a salon in Yazoo City for 22 years and is actively involved in church, community, and civic projects. She has two children at Manchester Academy: Myla (10th grade) and Hamp (5th grade). Jamie and her family are active members of First Methodist Church of Yazoo City.
